Henry David Thoreau had a variety of different hairstyles during his lifetime. He was most celebrated as an excellent writer, poet, philosopher, essayist, autobiographer and diarist. However, the 1817-1862 American poet, essayist, naturalist, and abolitionist was mainly known for his remarkable looks and his delightful character. Before his tragic passing at the age of 45 he was often in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids due to his superb looks.
